ElitePlus++ to Organise 11th IMBM Rigid Plastics and Packaging Summit in Mumbai

 

 

Mumbai will host the 11th Injection, Blow Moulding & PET International Summit & Exhibition, IMBM 2026, from 30 June to 1 July 2026 at the Jio World Convention Centre.

 

 

Organised by ElitePlus++ Business Services, with support from the Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India, the event is expected to bring together more than 1,200 attendees, 450 organisations, 90 global speakers, participants from over 15 countries and more than 65 exhibitors.

 

 

The summit will focus on rigid plastics moulding, packaging, PET, recycling, automation and circular economy developments at a time when the sector is facing shifts in sourcing, resin availability, trade flows, freight costs, energy uncertainty and extended producer responsibility requirements.

 

 

The programme will bring together brand owners, resin producers, compounders, additive suppliers, machinery manufacturers, mould and tooling companies, converters, PET processors, recyclers, sustainability specialists, policymakers and investors. Brand owner participation is expected from sectors including FMCG, food and beverage, pharma, medical devices, personal care, consumer durables, electronics, automotive, retail and e-commerce.

 

 

Key sessions will cover food-contact packaging regulations, recycled content, policy developments, economic outlook, premiumisation, consumer expectations, PET packaging, blow moulding technologies, AI-enabled manufacturing, smart factories, automation, energy efficiency and defect reduction.

 

 

The event will also include dedicated discussions on recycling content under EPR regulations and upgrading PCR collection and sorting systems. These sessions are expected to address recycling infrastructure, material recovery, PCR availability and quality, and the development of a more circular plastics economy.

 

 

According to the organiser, more than 60 exhibitors will showcase processing machinery, moulds, tooling systems, recycling technologies, automation solutions, sustainable materials, compounds, resins, additives and next-generation packaging innovations.

 

 

The summit will also feature a special address on investment opportunities in Oman’s petrochemicals, polymers, manufacturing, logistics and industrial sectors for regional and international stakeholders evaluating future supply-chain and market strategies in 2026.
